The Magical Christmas Elf Village In North Carolina Where Everyone Is A Kid Again

Nothing puts you in the holiday spirit more than visiting a tree farm, picking out a tree to adorn your living room, and then bringing it home for the entire family to decorate. One tree farm, in particular, takes the business of choosing a tree a step further with their magical elf village that’s a perfect outing for making lasting family memories of the holidays. Tom Sawyer Tree Farm has another enchanting element: Santa's Elf Village! It's filled with tiny little elf cottages decorated with elfish decor and is certain to create fun, lasting memories. Take a look...

Firstly, you'll need to pay a visit to the village Uniform Shop. Put on some proper elf attire so you'll blend in with Santa's other Elves.

Then, pose for your Christmas card photos. These shots are perfect for your snail mail cards and for your seasonal online profile pics.

There are so many places in the village to pose, you'll have more than one to choose from! Plus, you'll find an elf post office and passport office where little ones will pose for, and be issued, their very own passport to Elf Village. Other highlights include a visit with jolly old Saint Nick. So fun!

A walk through the wooded Elf Village brings all sorts of nice surprises, including... MORE photo opportunities, among other things.

You can also pop inside a few of the elf workshops for special activities, like story time, found in the Storytellers Cottage.

There may be a bit of a line in places, but it's totally worth the short wait.

In Santa's Elf Village at Tom Sawyers Tree Farm, everyone gets to be one of Santa's elves, and everyone gets to explore all the village has to offer!

Other fun things to do on the farm include a $5 horse-drawn wagon ride around the property.

Santa’s Elf Village is located at Tom Sawyer’s Christmas Tree Farm. The address is 240 Chimney Pond Rd., Glenville, NC 28736. The Elf Village is open every Saturday and Sunday from November 17, 2018 through Saturday December 8, 2018. The hours are: Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. It’s also open on the day after Thanksgiving from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The cost is $15 per child (adults are free) with a $60/max per family.
