If Charlie Brown was real, we’d bet he could be found on Halloween night in the thriving pumpkin fields at Riverbend Farm in Midland, North Carolina (waiting patiently for the Great Pumpkin to arrive, of course). The enormous pumpkin grower is home to a fun farm that’s ideal for families to discover a pumpkin patch adventure that takes them into more than 25 brightly colored acres of ripe pumpkins for u-pick memories everyone will cherish.
In 2019, Riverbend Farms will celebrate 28 years of hosting families at their adventure farm and pumpkin patch found a mere 30 minutes east of Charlotte.
For a mere $5.50 per person (age two and older), you'll enjoy a fun-filled day that begins with a wagon ride pulled by a tractor. Venture out into the field and find your perfect pumpkin(s). They're priced at only 40 cents per pound.
Maybe you can't stay all night like Charlie Brown did in his favorite pumpkin patch, but you can stay in the pumpkin patch at Riverbend Farms all day if you want. (The hours that wagons will run each day are listed below.)
Riverbend Farm is widely lauded for their farmyard, which is more like a giant playground. Your admission includes hours of fun on the farm-themed playground that includes several slides. Climb to the top of a silo to try out many of them.
Charlie Brown and the gang probably would have loved a visit to Riverbend Farms — and you will, too! Add this fun spot to your bucket list of must-visit attractions this October!
Riverbend Farms is open year-round for birthday and other private parties. Visit during the month of October to enjoy the pumpkin patch, wagon rides, farm-themed playground, ice cream, and more!
