You may not be able to travel back in time, but you can get pretty darn close at S&T’s Soda Shoppe! Though opened in the 90s, the eatery is a replica of soda fountains of yesteryear – and it’s as charming as you’d expect. But the surroundings aren’t the only thing that’ll give you a taste of the past. There’s also the slew of old-fashioned treats, which are sure to stir up some feelings of nostalgia. Take a look:
When craving a sweet treat with a side of nostalgia, a visit to S&T’s Soda Shoppe in Pittsboro is sure to hit the spot.
Oozing historic charm inside and out, the building that houses S&T’s was built in 1916 as a pharmacy and soda fountain. When the current owner purchased the building in 1996, he made it his mission to recreate the soda fountain.
The atmosphere is only half of S&T’s old-fashioned allure, though. There’s also the menu, which boasts an appetizing array of quintessential soda fountain eats and sweets.
A great place for a work lunch, quick bite, or family dinner, the fare includes everything from hot dogs, burgers, and sandwiches to heartier options, such as lasagna and chicken parmesan.
