Between costumes, parties, candy, and a spooky atmosphere…Halloween is my favorite holiday. So naturally, I start thinking about what my Halloween costume will be months in advance. Last year, I was Carrie, and despite my bathroom looking like a murder scene (from pouring fake blood on myself in the shower) I think that costume was a great success.
But this year, I’m really wondering what I should be….so I brainstormed a few options– but with a North Carolina theme. If you’re looking for something unique, different, and with a lot of compliment potential…consider these twenty NC themed halloween costumes.
1. The Four Seasons
Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer...we definitely have those here. Find three other friends and make it happen!
2. You can be your favorite Panthers player
I'm sure you have a jersey laying around somewhere.
3. Or a 'sexy' Panther
Grrr!
4. Southerner in the snow
It's always good to make fun of ourselves a little bit (although we aren't THIS bad).
5. Atlantic Ocean anyone?
Or just a wave works too.

7. Krispy Kreme Donut
Or coffee...or donut and coffee for a couples costumes!
8. 'Carolina Style' Burger
This one is for the whole family, get each member to be a condiment and dad can be the 'burger.' Am I reaching here? I think it's pretty genius.

Or just dress your child up as a glowing LED light...whatever works (it's actually really cute).

Just wear all blue and say you're the Blue Ridge Mountains.
