This hike is 5.7 miles, out and back.

The first couple of miles start out pretty easy, but the last mile is a little harder. You’ll hike a total of 1,729 feet of elevation throughout the trail.

It earned the name “Looking Glass” because when rainwater freezes on the surface of the rock, it reflects the sun and looks like a polished mirror.

Crowds tend to congregate in afternoon, so if you want a quiet hike, it’s recommended that you head out in the early morning. The views are still stunning, and they’ll be all yours!
