10 Ways Living In North Carolina Ruins You For Life
We’re pretty spoiled here in the Tar Heel state, between beautiful scenery, great food, friendly people, and southern charm. If you decide to leave home and start anew, there will be an adjustment period and Carolina will always seem to be calling. Here are 10 ways living in North Carolina will ruin you for life.

There's beauty to be found everywhere, but nothing like the beauty of home. A Sunday drive on the Blue Ridge or a warm afternoon at the beach. Not to mention all the gorgeous scenery in-between. You'll miss the abundance of 'greenery.'

And you'll get to the point where you stop trying to even find BBQ comparable.

Sure, there's plenty of friendly people everywhere. But you might find yourself saying hey to someone on the street or wanting a simple conversation. When that doesn't get reciprocated back us southerners can sometimes take it to heart. All I gotta say is, bless their heart!

And all the diversity of the amazing restaurants here. One day you can have tapas, the next fried chicken, and the next the freshest seafood you'll have in your life. Not to mention Cookout and Bojangles. #sigh

Enough said.

No other state has such a beautiful fall as we do. It's basically the 'fall' you see in movies. Mild temps, beautiful leaves, cozy everything.

Everyone has their favorite NC beach and nothing beats a long week or two away from it all in the summer.

Between craft breweries, live music, fun events, festivals, there's so much fun to be had in North Carolina. You'll be appalled when you find out BBQ and bluegrass festivals are not the norm elsewhere.

You can never replace home.
Everyone likes a change, but remember, the grass is greener where you water it! Change is good, and leaving home is something I advise everyone to try once, but these are just harsh truths of being raised in such an amazing state.
