If you want to surround yourself with some of the most stunning flowers around, the Lavender Oaks Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, has thousands of plants just waiting to be enjoyed. This wonderful place doubles as an event hall, and offers boutique products featuring the lavender grown right at the farm.
There’s a wonderful farm only five miles from downtown Chapel Hill that’s filled to the brim with flowers.
The farm sits on 60 beautiful acres, and is surrounded by an old and majestic forest. More than just a working lavender farm, it’s a feast for the senses.
You’ll get to see nine gorgeous varieties of heavenly lavender.
When the plants bloom in June and early July, the air is scented with the beautiful notes of lavender. It’s hard to choose a favorite varietal, so bring home a little of each if they’re in season!

Because this farm is so unbelievably charming, many events are held year round.
They also hold many weddings, and summertime is the perfect time to celebrate when these flowers are in bloom. It’s hard to think of something more beautiful than a wedding amidst these flowers.
Originally crafted with hand-hewn oak and pine beams, they've been lovingly restored, and it shows! The restorations were completed to offer a wonderful tribute to the talented craftsmen who originally built these stunning buildings.

Filled with items crafted from the lavender grown right on the farm, you can take home items like soap, lotion, and even a lavender peach ginger syrup. It’s a great way to bring a little of this magical place home! Their website also offers sales if you can’t make it into the boutique on the farm.
In the off seasons, they offer Culinary Lavender Dinners.
With fields of beautiful purple flowers and stunning architectural buildings, you’ll love every minute you spend on the farm. Even when the flowers have spent for the season it’s a beautiful place to see.
