Think you have to travel all the way to the coast for a fun day at the beach? Think again!

Lake Lure Beach is located at 2724 Memorial Hwy., Lake Lure, NC 28746. The typical season begins prior to Memorial Day with weekend openings only. In early June, the beach and water park open seven days per week, usually through Labor Day. Entrance fees include both the beach and water park. The cost is: $9 adults, $8 seniors, $7 kids ages 4-12 and 45 inches or taller, children under the age of 4 are free. The beach includes a beach house with facilities, and a store where you can purchase towels, chairs, sunscreen, floats and more. Kayak, canoe, paddle boards and pedal boat rentals are available.
