She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). One of our favorite year-round activities is a visit to indoor water parks in North Carolina. Not only are these indoor oases a great way to beat the heat in the summer, but they also serve as great opportunities to play in the water even when it’s freezing or rainy outside: there aren’t many places you can do that! One of our favorite’s is Ray’s Splash Planet, one of the largest indoor water parks in the Carolinas. This spot in Charlotte features 29,000 square feet of fun. It’s got all kinds of attractions that make for a superb day of fun in the water, no matter what season it is.
