History, coastal charm, zero dollar price tag? While it’s too good to be true, the historic Parkhill house built in 1886 in Southport, NC is being offered for free to anyone who can move and preserve it.
Not a bad deal? Well, the estimated cost of moving is anywhere from 20,000 to 80,000 but still, that’s a bit cheaper than what you would spend on it for wholesale. The house currently belongs to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, but church staff are looking for a new owner.
Think you could handle it? This lovely, historic house, with zero price tag got me thinking…what other history is hiding, and waiting for a buyer, throughout NC?
