Chimney Rock State Park's main attraction is actually a privately-managed entity from the state park and is officially called Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock State Park.
If you're an annual pass holder for Chimney Rock, then you can take part in occasional llama hikes within the park. (An adult annual pass is only $32.)
During Llamapalooza on Saturday, November 16, 2019, annual pass holders can preregister to hike with llamas on the park's Hickory Nut Falls Trail. Meet up with these giant, gentle creatures and enjoy a fun event this fall.
The hike lasts approximately 1.5 hours and two hikes total will take place on November 16, 2019. A trained guide will lead the hike over to the Hickory Nut Falls
Tickets for this fun llama trek at Llamapalooza at Chimney Rock are available online and are limited. If you don't manage to get one for this date, it's quite possible the attraction will have another llama hike in the spring.
