The mountains of North Carolina provide ample opportunity to get outside and play during any season. And when it comes to winter, you can’t beat the family fun you’ll have when you’re snow tubing. The state has quite a few snow tubing parks, but the primo location is found in Seven Devils at Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline.
When the snow flies in North Carolina, seasoned snow tubers get an itch to hit the slopes. There's nothing like a fresh layer of snow to make you want to go outside and play.
Hawksnest operated as a ski resort beginning in 1967. By 2007, the operation had fully converted to snow tubing and then zip lining was added. Today, more than 20 lanes in four different areas of the park offer runs from 500 to 1,000 feet long.
What a thrill to tie all of your tubes together and go down at once. Remember, the more tubes you have (the limit allowed is six), the faster you'll go!
Tickets can be booked online in advance on the official website for Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zipline. You can get any other questions answered at that link as well.
