It’s commonplace to find theme parks that have restaurants, but finding just the opposite is not so common. Located seemingly in the middle of nowhere in North Carolina (technically outside of Williamston) is the Smokehouse Grill – a one-of-a-kind restaurant that comes complete with its very own theme park. Both are positively marvelous, check them out below!
Located in the wilds of North Carolina is an Old Wild West theme park that's attached to a family-style restaurant called the Smokehouse Grill.
Known for their mouthwatering steaks and fresh salad bar, the Smokehouse Grill is anything BUT ordinary. That's because out back... there's a whole lot of surprises awaiting discovery.
To begin with, there's an Old Wild West town — complete with a general store and a working train called the Iron Horse Express.
If that's not enough to stir your excitement, then you can hop on board the Dinosaur Canyon Roller Coaster... but beware of the creatures lurking around the bends!
The restaurant's very own theme park comes complete with scenic train rides, putt-putt golf, a playground, roller coaster, ice cream shop and a coffee shop.
They even have their very own dinner theater, with a host of entertainment.
The whole kit and kaboodle is known as
Deadwood , and it's a favorite among those who've discovered the magic.
Deadwood and the Smokehouse Grill are located at 2302 Eds Grocery Rd., Williamston, NC 27892. They're open Thursday from 5-9, Friday from 5-10, Saturday from noon-11 and Sunday from noon-9. Prices for the various attractions in the theme park vary. Find more information and get a peek at the menu
