If you’re like us, then when the weekend approaches, your taste buds begin to have tantalizing thoughts of the meals you’ll either prepare or indulge in when your world slows down a bit on your days off. And while most everyone enjoys cooking, a night out where someone else does the cooking is even better!
Italian cuisine is a natural go-to for dining out, not matter where you are in the Tar Heel State. But if you're near the Triangle, then add Dante's Italiano in Raleigh to your list of must-try restaurants.
The owner of this unassuming eatery found in a shopping center developed his love of New York style Italian food during his youth in New York. Today, he's the proud owner of Dante's in Raleigh where you'll find Italian cuisine for every craving, from pizza and stromboli to beautiful plates of pasta positively overflowing with the flavors of Italy.
A variety of pastas — including imported spaghetti for the spaghetti and meatballs featuring homemade sauce and meatballs — as well as chef's specials are found on the extensive menu.
Dante's Italiano is open for dinner six nights a week: Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. It's closed on Monday nights.
Reservations aren’t required but are recommended. Call 919-556-2146 to make a reservation. You can learn more from the Dante’s Italiano website and give them a follow on Facebook here.
