I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream – at least once in a while! If you can relate, then you’re sure to love the upcoming ice cream festival in Clemmons, North Carolina (a suburb of Winston-Salem). The entire day is filled with tasty treats of the frozen variety – and you’ll love every moment (and bite!) of it.
The official "star" of the event will be center stage all day of course, but the event also includes a variety of fun activities the entire family will enjoy.
Unplug for a day of fun with the kids, who can participate in craft making, potato stamping, face painting, and more.
Now in it's fourth year, the Clemmons Ice Cream Festival is organized by the Village of Clemmons and the Village Farmers Market.
The fun day takes place at Clemmons Elementary School. And the day promises to be jam-packed with not only sweet treats, but also a variety of entertainment.
Aside from the star of the show...
there will be live, toe-tapping, bluegrass, as well as dance performances, like clogging.
Local vendors will be on hand, selling fresh veggies and other items.
And this year, additional food vendors will be on hand. We hear Rocco's Roasted Corn is a buttery, tasty favorite!
If you want to attend, you'll need to save the date for the biggest and best Ice Cream Festival in the Tar Heel State: Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Gates open at 10:00 a.m and the festival ends at 2:00 p.m. Come hungry!
