During the holiday season, plenty of backroads and mountain byways lead to magical towns along the way showcasing a classical Christmas in North Carolina. We’re fortunate to have so many generous people go to that much trouble for us. One of those places is Spruce Pine with only about 2,200 residents, who manage to illuminate the town with a series of month-long events in December. Just follow the Mountain Christmas Trail of Lights and soon you’ll be grateful for all of the efforts and events the lovely folks of this charming small town offer.
The Trail of Lights is a unique, community-wide celebration and one of our favorite Christmas gifts.
