Myers Park United Methodist Church was founded in 1925 and is one of the most recognized landmarks in the city, standing at the corner of Queens and Providence Roads. The beautiful stonework and the elegant lines and arches of this church are especially captivating, and many people driving or walking by will slow their pace to take in this church's beauty.

The Cathedral of St. Patrick is the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte's mother church and official Cathedral. Nestled in Charlotte's charming Dilworth neighborhood, this church consists of beautiful gray brick, amazing stained glass windows, and a brilliant copper roof that was installed in 2000. In 2007 a 700 pound bell was raised in the church's 77-foot tall bell tower, which creates a beautiful sound that fills the neighborhood every Sunday.
