Don't Miss Carolina Mountain Cheese Festival In April In North Carolina

Calling all cheese lovers: there’s an event planned for early next year that you won’t want to miss. A great big cheese festival, the Carolina Mountain Cheese Fest, is planned for October 18, 2020 and features more than 20 cheese makers doling out samples as well as selling cheese from their vendor booth. If you’re into cheese, then make plans to head to Asheville for this epic event. Here’s what to expect:

More than 20 local and regional cheese making creameries will be on hand, selling cheese and more, and rotating a selection of sample bites of their creations.

Just think, theoretically if each vendor brings 10 different cheeses... that's 200 different kinds of cheese to sample in one place!

But cheese isn't all you can expect to find at this annual event.

In addition to the many creameries offering samples as well as cheese and more for sale...

A number of other vendors with items that pair perfectly with cheese will be on hand as well. Visitors can also find other unique and non-cheese-related vendors like organic soap makers, chocolate makers, and more.

Because no cheese fest would be complete without some hot, prepared food, a few food trucks will be on site offering hot and gooey cheesy items like grilled cheese and more.

While you're there, be sure to attend a cheese making workshop or talk. It's an ideal way to learn even more about cheese.

And even watch as some vendors demonstrate some cheese making secrets right from their booth.

Want to bring the kids? There will be a family tent with games and more at this epic one-day event, plus a wonderful line up of live mountain music.

The Carolina Mountain Cheese Fest takes place Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Highland Brewing Company in Asheville. Parking at the event is limited so try to carpool or take a car service (uber, lyft, Asheville Taxi Co) to assure you spend as much time as possible sampling the cheese! Tickets haven’t gone on sale for this 2020 event yet. Keep an eye on the event’s official website in the coming weeks so you can snag your tickets as early as possible.
