Fall in North Carolina just may be the best season ever. From fall foliage day trips to fall festivals there’s so much to do as the weather cools down that it’s nearly impossible to spend the day on the couch as we sometimes do when the weather isn’t as pleasant. If you’re on the lookout for a fall festival that provides nothing but wholesome family fun, then you’ll find it on October 23, 2021 in the small town of Franklin (population, about 4,100).
Downtown Franklin will come alive with the 25th annual PumpkinFest, an event that is a fall family tradition for many in the area.
It takes place pretty much all day long from 10:30 until 2:30. Sign ups begin at 9 a.m. and you can purchase a pumpkin to roll at the place and time you sign up.
