When winter in New York comes, we all have a tendency to want to stay indoors. As the carol goes, the weather outside can be frightful and the fire is so delightful. But just because the temperatures are low doesn’t mean you can’t get out and delight in the beauty that surrounds us. Some of the trails here are inaccessible or unsafe in the winter, but we’ve got plenty of winter hikes in New York to enjoy. Bundle up in your warm weather gear and hit the trails: it’s a winter wonderland out there just waiting for you to come enjoy it!
