Summer may not technically begin for another few weeks, but many of us in New York have already started to enjoy the season’s festivities like grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers outdoors. Aside from those two seasonal favorites, another finger licking good treat to chow down on during the summer is some tasty BBQ. Ready to travel to the Old West? Well good, because this western-themed restaurant has some of the most mouthwatering food that you’ll ever taste.
Less than an hour outside of Albany, Wagon Train BBQ is easy to spot with its western theme decorated all over their property and restaurant.
But the old-timey ambiance and amazing service aren't the only things that draw in visitors to this place. Their amazing food will have you drooling before you even get inside.
Wagon Train BBQ has a Graveyard Burger Challenge, where guests can try to eat all 5 pounds of delicious goodness that's on this plate - consisting of pulled pork, beef brisket, mac and cheese, BBQ sauce, burger, fried eggs, slaw, french fries, and onion rings. Talk about a challenge!
Slow cooking all their great-tasting meat, you can look over their menu and decide between things like beef brisket, pulled pork, ribs, wings, chicken, and just about everything else your carnivore heart could desire.
That's right! If you want to enjoy looking at the cow on the roof or the western wagon out front, you can dine outside at Wagon Train BBQ during our summer months.
