After the building endured a fire, a claim was made that someone had seen a woman in a long dress through the window. After years of unexplainable behavior and strange activity, most people believe that both the ghost of a man and a woman are haunting Wayside. The female ghost that most people say they see is referred to as Sara, a girl who had taken her own life on the third floor of the pub. Most of the time when people see Sara's spirit, she is lingering by the staircase.
The other ghosts you'll run into? One of the main male presences felt here is believed to be the spirit of a soldier. Some who have had the pleasure of seeing spirits at the pub say they've seen a man dressed in a soldiers uniform.
Ladies...be mindful of your beautiful hair! There's supposedly a spirit who loves to pull on women's hair. Many people who have come here have also felt themselves being poked, aside from the hair pulling. Paranormal investigators have taken a trip to this haunted New York restaurant before, finding nothing but signs that something paranormal is happening here. Those working at the pub welcome the idea of people coming to visit who don't believe in ghosts, in hopes with sending them back out into the world as true believers after spending time here.
How to get here: 101 W Main Street Elbridge, NY 13060
