If you find yourself wowed by the twinkling holiday lights and enjoy discover the best of the best, then taking a trip throughout the Empire State to see our most dazzling light displays and winter events is something you won’t want to miss.

Fairgrounds Festival of Lights - Hamburg
Heading to Hamburg during the holidays is one of our favorite things to do because, at the Festival of Lights, you get to experience all of our favorite parts of the holidays. At the Fairground Festival of Lights, you can enjoy everything from strolls through a real Christmas Tree Forest, meet Santa, experience the drive-thru light display, and everything else that comes along with visiting the largest holiday festival in Western New York! Our Lady of Fatima Shrine's Festival of Light - Youngstown
Drive just less than an hour north of Hamburg to Youngstown and you'll get to enjoy a one-of-a-kind light show during the holidays. At Our Lady of Fatima Shrine, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. every night until January 6th, you'll see this national shrine decorated in holiday lights and displays that'll leave you in awe. While the Festival of Lights is up and running at the shrine, you'll see 200 statues decorated in lights on the grounds, a sight that's truly magical to see in person. To find out more,

Lights On The Lake - Liverpool
Next, make the 2-hour trip out to Liverpool and enjoy Central New York's best holiday light display. Lights on the Lake is a 2-mile long drive-thru light show that features themed displays like their Land of Oz lights, Twinkling Fantasy Forest, Fairytale Magic grand finale, and plenty of amazingly vibrant arches all in between. Capital Holiday Lights - Albany
Take another little road trip and keep heading east and you'll get to discover one of our state's other amazing and noteworthy drive-thru light displays in Albany's Washington Park. During the holidays, the roads that wind through the park are surrounded by magnificent light displays that have been a local holiday tradition for over 20 years now. A Frosty Fest - Ulster Park
Travel just over an hour south of Albany to the town of Ulster Park and you'll find another winter attraction that has a variety of ways for you to enjoy the spirit of the holidays. Dazzling for all to see not far from the banks of the Hudson River, all here at Frosty Fest, visitors of this twinkling attraction will get to enjoy Candy Cane Lane, Frosty’s Enchanted Forest that you can either drive through or take a hayride through, Glistening Gardens, 3-D walk-through adventures, gift shops, and so much more. Winter Wonderland - Westchester
Taking you all around our state, head another hour south to Westchester and see a real lit-up winter wonderland. Open Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Weekdays & Sundays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Westchester’s Kensico Dam Plaza features the annual Winter Wonderland event. North Kensico Christmas Light Show - White Plains
Like killing two birds with one stone, you'll end this holiday lights road trip by traveling just 10-minutes south to White Plains for the final stop - the North Kensico Christmas Light Show. On North Kensico Avenue in White Plains, a set of three specific houses light up for the holidays and will make you feel like you've stumbled upon real-life gingerbread houses in New York. On display now through January 2nd, you can turn your radio into 107.7 FM to listen to the music that goes along with the light display, or even walk into one of the backyards to see more holiday lights and find photo opportunities to take with Santa.
