Lake Placid is a small village in the Adirondacks with under 3,000 residents. It's best known for hosting the 1980 Winter Olympics. We may be biased, but we think Cooperstown has one of the best Main Streets in the entire country. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is one of the biggest sports-related attractions in the country, but there's so much more to Cooperstown. There's a few other great museums here, and the scenery is astoundingly gorgeous. This is a great place for a weekend day trip!

Woodstock is such a cute little town! There's so much charm here, and the atmosphere is perfect for artists and writers. This spot will really get your creative juices flowing. The weekly flea market is incredible and especially shouldn't be missed. There's a lot to see in this adorable place!

Goshen was recently named one of the best small towns in America by Smithsonian Magazine. It's home to Legoland New York and has a ton of harness racing history. The Historic Track opened in 1838 and is the oldest continuously-operated horse racing track in the country.
