We’ve got so many beautiful regions in the Empire State that it’s difficult to just pick one to explore. If you’re looking for a day trip in New York, where do you go? The Adirondacks? The Catskills? The Big Apple? All of these are great choices, but today we’re going to focus on a region that’s not quite as popular of a vacation spot: the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. This area boasts natural beauty, some amazing wineries, and plenty of activities to enjoy.

We'll start this trip on the on the southeast side of Seneca Lake, at Atwater Vineyards. This 80-acre estate winery boasts some of the best lakeside views you can imagine. Reservations are required for a visit, so make sure to check out the winery's website before heading out.
