Thrifters and treasure hunters from all over the country love to visit the state of New York to sift through our favorite flea markets and antique shops for hidden gold. Hosting six different markets throughout each year, this one charming event has now become so big it’s hosted right at an airport!
Starting off as just a tiny market that was made up of only several tables, now almost fifty years later this one reoccurring event has become one of the most anticipated talks of the town.
If you love going thrifting for forgotten treasures and handmade items, then you'll want to add the Stormville Airport Antique Show & Flea Market to your calendar.
Hosted right at the Stormville Airport in Dutchess County, the antique show and flea market hosts over 600 vendors that gather here altogether from a handful of different states.
A family-friendly market that visitors of all ages will love, you'll even discover an entire Kid's Area that features activities like creating sand art and going jumping inside bounce houses.
After you're done exploring the hundreds of vendors that are scattered across this 155 acre airport field, you'll probably begin to work up an appetite.
From pizza and fried pickles to sausage and peppers and ice cream, you’ll go into a delicious frenzy trying to decide what you should snack on while you’re shopping around.
Always kicking off the treasure hunting season in April, there are now five official flea market dates left for Stormville. After May's dates, you can come back on June 30th, July 1st, September 1st and 2nd, October 6th and 7th, and their final Christmas in November, Christmas Shopping market on November 3rd and 4th. Open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. whether it's rain or shine, you'll be left speechless once you see just how much stuff is on display here at the Stormville Airport.
