As one of the best wine regions in the entire country, the Finger Lakes area and all around it is an amazing place to explore with your taste buds. Some of our residents may have already heard about spectacular events that are held out here, like the Naples Grape Festival but that isn’t the only tasty event you’ll want to have on your radar! If you’re ready to get ankle-deep in all that New York’s beautiful wine country has to offer, then come stomp your own grapes at this small-town festival.
Surrounding you with the gorgeous landscapes that make up the town of Fairport, Casa Larga Vineyards is once again hosting their annual Purple Foot Festival.
On Sunday, September 15th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., New Yorkers and anyone else willing to make the trip out here can come experience one of the largest grape stomping festivals in the Eastern United States.
Casa Larga Vineyards has been hosting this family-friendly event for more than 20-years now, featuring all sorts of activities that will keep your entire family busy.
Throughout the day, you'll find vineyard hayrides running, where you and all your friends and family can enjoy a relaxing, scenic tour of the property.
Between the moments where you're stomping grapes, you'll be able to check out tasty food trucks, three different Grape Pie Eating Contests, the Sangria Bar, and the amazing variety of vendors set up that will be selling everything like chocolate, jewelry, handbags, clay creations, alcohol, cigars, condiments, and more.
Like we said, the Purple Foot Festival is designed to fit your whole family! The festival has its own Kids Zone where younger guests can dance to live music, have their faces painted, enjoy balloon magic, crafts, and other sorts of fun.
If you've yet to cross grape stomping off of your lifetime bucket list, then head out to Casa Larga Vineyard's Purple Foot Festival to see what the fun is all about.
