This year we’ve already spoken about how you can visit some of New York’s best farms, like Navarino Orchard, to go picking for fresh fruit. If you’re ready to fill your home with fresh food that you’ve picked for yourself, then there’s never been a better time to explore this one juicy event that’s happening on a small-town farm in the Empire State. See for yourself!
With a history that dates all the way back to 1913 when the farm was first founded, people from the Hudson Valley and beyond have long been visiting Fishkill Farms.
From the juicy peaches to other wonderful eats like nectarines, fresh flowers, and more, you’ll be sure to walk away from Fishkill Farms with an armful of delicious fruit.
The festival is not only delicious because you’ll have the opportunity to to pick your own peaches, but because the farm also hosts an old fashioned crawfish boil that comes with corn, cornbread, potatoes, and sausage. Yum!
With fresh fruit waiting to be picked, wagon rides, live music from The Buttery Barmaids, and even an entire kid's craft area designated in the shade, the whole family can expect to have fun here.
