While you may expect to find an exhausting adventure ahead of you in order to reach such an epic natural wonder, all it takes is hiking along a short out-and-back trail to reach Taughannock Falls.
From start to finish, the out-and-back Gorge Trail at Taughannock Falls State Park is roughly 2 miles long — where as soon as you begin hiking along this trail you'll encounter waterfalls and all sorts of natural beauty.
