It’s always exciting to find a new place in New York that we love visiting and discovering that it has a unique history and story behind it. Something about the old bones of a building that has more than a few stories to tell intrigues us even further into an attraction or restaurant, doesn’t it? What was once a dairy farm in Yates County for over a century, Fox Run Vineyards now grows grapes and has evolved into something so much more.
Overlooking Seneca Lake just 10-minutes outside of Penn Yan, Fox Run Vineyards sits on 50-acres of land that was a long-time dairy farm of the Finger Lakes Region.
During the year Fox Run hosts events like their Tasting Blocks Dinner, where you'll get to enjoy a thoughtfully planned out four-course meal with their wines.
The outdoor seating also makes for a great place to enjoy the food from the Cafe at Fox Run, using ingredients from their own garden and other local farms to make splendid dishes like their FLX Bison Meat Loaf, FLX Hand-Pulled Bison Tacos, Flatbread Pizzas, and other great options.
A family-owned and operated vineyard, you can feel the love that goes into everything it takes to operate this vineyard, cafe, and market. If you're interested in learning more about Fox Run, you can enjoy one of their tours where you'll not only get to drink their wonderful wines, you'll also learn more about everything that happens here at their winery.
