That would be up north in Ausable Chasm, of course! Way up north where you're away from it all, Ausable Chasm opened up to the public back in 1870 and has since been known as the oldest natural attraction in the United States.

Yes, the answer is always yes. Compare to some of the other massive mountains that you'll find here in the United States, ours up may not be at the highest of elevations, but that doesn't mean the Adirondack Park won't completely leave you in awe. No matter what season you decide to visit the Adirondacks in, it's always absolutely breathtaking here.

Our apologies, we see how this one could be confusing. While we of course love to visit the scenic and absolutely funky town of Woodstock, our state's famous music festival that happened many moons ago didn't actually take place in Woodstock. If you're looking to visit the site of the festival and the museum dedicated to this epic event, you'll want to head down to Bethel!

Yep, we've actually hosted them twice! The historic and absolutely breathtaking town of Lake Placid hosted the Winter Olympics in both 1932 and 1980. All throughout town you can find pieces of our Olympic past, this is definitely an area of New York's history that you'll be fascinated to explore.

Every state has their own array of iconic food dishes and one of New York's just so happens to be something called the Garbage Plate.
