Covering nearly 130-acres up in one of New York's most scenic towns, it's time you get acquainted with all that you can experience in and around Mirror Lake.
With the beautiful village of Lake Placid set around the shores of Mirror Lake, during the summertime you'll be able to enjoy an entire laundry list of waterfront activities.
In town along the lakefront, you'll find plenty of places where you can rent things like kayaks and paddleboards that provide an exciting way to get out onto the water.
While some prefer to soak in the views of New York's tallest mountains while they're also soaking in Mirror Lake, with the Lake Placid Public Beach situated at the southern end of Mirror Lake - also acting as the town's boat launch.
The perfect place to go for a stroll, you'll be able to enjoy the views of the Adirondack Mountains without doing any hard work as you walk along paved sidewalk that follows the lake's 2.7-mile long perimeter.
As you follow the sidewalk and make your way around Mirror Lake, you'll pass by plenty of lakefront restaurants and charming little shops, many of which you can paddle right up to!
