Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). You may remember the old Byrne Dairy building on Meadow Street in Ithaca. The beloved spot was left empty when the dairy expanded into a larger location. It’s now the home of an upscale diner that pays homage to the previous resident with its name: The Milkstand. The Milkstand serves traditional diner food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They’ve also got fancier items: crepes, steaks, pastas, and even more specials planned for the future. As you can imagine, the spot is quite popular with students, but it’s also a great option for a date night or family outing.
