It takes a lot to stand out as a burger restaurant in New York. We have so many options to choose from that it’s almost overwhelming. One burger joint that rises above the rest is the uniquely named Meyer’s Olde Dutch Food & Such. The restaurant opened in 2017 and quickly became a staple of the Beacon dining area. Chef Brian Arnoff was already famous after running a popular Washington D.C. food truck. His vision of a full-service bar and modern interpretation of a classic burger restaurant has proven very popular!
Though it doesn't look like much, there's real deliciousness hiding in here! The restaurant serves a variety of high-class burgers, chicken, and hot dogs, and also carries vegan options.
Whenever possible, Meyer's uses locally sourced ingredients. All of their beef comes from the Hudson Valley, and their cheese and produce are also from New York.
One of their most popular menu items is the Pork & Bacon BBQ burger. It's a delectable combination of pork, bacon, and barbecue chipotle sauce, topped with New York cheddar. Sign us up!
Everything here is incredible. They joke that their "dirty fries" have everything but the kitchen sink on them. With beef chili, pimento cheese, and coleslaw, it's not a food item for the faint of heart.
