Visible for lucky residents like us who are living in the Northern Hemisphere, the Perseid Meteor Shower will be visible between July 17th and August 24th. Like we mentioned above, this year during the shower's peak the moon will be a thin crescent which creates an ideal setting to see this heart-stopping natural phenomenon.

If you do plan to see this meteor shower for yourself, here are some helpful tips. Make sure you're submerged in the darkness as much as you can be, staying away from light pollution is key! Another thing to keep in mind? For most people, it takes roughly 30-minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness - so make sure you're outside and adjusted to your surroundings before this epic show starts.
