We asked a bunch of Long Island natives to recommend the very best brunch place in all of Long Island and Maureen’s Kitchen in Smithtown was the winner time and time again. This place has been in business for more than 20 years and is a Suffolk County icon. The service is great, the cow decor is adorable, the dishes are massive, and the food is off-the-charts fantastic. Read on to learn a bit more about this place and why you should head there for brunch immediately. Don’t delay. Get to Maureen’s Kitchen right away!
Maureen's Kitchen is located at 108 Terry Road in Smithtown, about halfway between the Smithtown Bypass/347 and Jericho Turnpike. People come here for brunch from all over Long Island and beyond.
The decor inside is whimsical and memorable. It's all cow-print themed. Everything is black and white and there are cow figurines and other decor everywhere.
The cow theme makes this place memorable visually, but it's the food that makes it truly unforgettable. The brunch menu is extensive and everything is excellent. These blueberry apple crumb pancakes are pretty mouth-watering.
Maureen's Kitchen has specials every single day. The creativity never ends. This breakfast sandwich special includes pepper ham, eggs, and Muenster cheese on a Miami roll.
These omelettes sure look filling. There are more than a dozen different omelettes to choose from and they all come with home-fries and toast. These portions are huge!
Some of the brunch options at Maureen's Kitchen are almost more of a dessert than anything else, like this stuffed French toast with apples, bananas, and fresh berries. It's the perfect breakfast treat.
You might as well order several things so you can try them all, and there's certainly nothing wrong with having French toast for dessert!
As you can see, Maureen’s Kitchen is pretty special! It’s open every day of the week for breakfast and lunch, but check Maureen’s Kitchen’s Facebook page for hours. Once you have brunch at this place, you’ll never want to go anywhere else and you’ll want to try every dish. There’s no time like the present to get started on that mission – Maureen’s Kitchen awaits!
