Now that spring has finally arrived here in New York, you may have some of our state’s serene gardens and floral-based attractions on your mind. While you may be craving a stroll through the gardens on a beautiful sunny day, there’s one scenic destination in our state that you’ll also want to keep on your radar. Ready to be swept right off of your feet? Then see what it’s like to drive out to Lavender By the Bay in Suffolk County.
Bringing you out to where you're right in the middle of the Long Island Sound and the Peconic River, Lavender By the Bay is one of our favorite places to visit here in New York.
Made up of nearly 20-acres right out by the ocean, Lavender By the Bay is normally gearing up for a busy season full of visitors at the farm but with the current COVID-19 pandemic still in full swing, things are looking a bit different this year.
While as of right now you aren't able to come walk through the fields of 80,000 lavender plants with all your family and friends, you can still drive out to Lavender By the Bay's locations in both East Marion and Calverton to get all of your favorite lavender goods.
With 20 different kinds of lavender plants growing on their farm, you'll find that Lavender By the Bay is able to create all sorts of amazing lavender products that you'll want to come by and grab from their curbside.
Currently, if you take a look at their website or Facebook page, you can stay up to date on when exactly they're having their curbside pick-up sales...
...where you can drive right up to their locations and pick up an assortment of lavender products from bunches of dried lavender to soap, candles and so much more.
