After the fire the Kreischer family would attempt to restore the building, only to realize the damages were too extensive. With no running business, the family would see its fortune disappear right before their eyes.

Another reason this house feels so eerie? Back in 2005 it was location of a mafia-ordered murder. A caretaker of the mansion was paid nearly ten thousand dollars to murder a man, using the furnace in the basement of the mansion to burn the body and evidence. Over time, one of the men involved in murder would confess and bring to light the terrible events that took place in here and everyone else who was involved.
