Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). There are certainly no shortage of charming small towns in New York. We’ve got so many cute little Main Streets that you could spend every weekend stopping by a different one and not hit them all. One particularly unique small town that we love is Hobart. This little village in Delaware County has a population of under 500, but what Hobart lacks in population, it more than makes up for in book shops.
Believe it or not, there are even more book shops in Hobart than the ones that we covered! This place is truly a bibliophile’s dream. There are also several other charming shops in Hobart worth checking out, too. Find a full list of shops on the Hobart Book Village website.
