Founded by Howard P. Sears Senior, this man managed to turn a gem into a chain of service stations that would go on to be set up all over the Central New York area. Sadly, the one you see before you today in Rome is the last of the Sears Service Stations. Giving you a chance to look at what an old oil change area looked like and to see the original porcelain signs that are hanging out front, it's always worth it to pull over and take a look at this place.
