If you travel up north to the area of New York where Lake Ontario begins to meet the St. Lawrence River, you’ll find all sorts of delightful small towns along the waterfront that will charm you endlessly. Nestled inside a harbor just before you reach Black River Bay, the teensy village of Sackets Harbor is one that many of us consider to be a true treasure. Made up of amazing views, friendly faces, and fantastic food, come and see what you have waiting for you on West Main Street in town if you’re feeling hungry!
Tucked between the other businesses that reside on West Main Street, The Sackets Boathouse is one restaurant you can't miss out on knowing about.
A spot that's become a go-to place for visitors, now that The Boathouse is officially open for the year it's time to start planning your dining adventure.
The Boathouse specializes in seafood, with a delicious menu that features things like Harbor Snacks and even a Little Matey's menu for younger visitors.
For those who are unfamiliar with this waterfront restaurant, it was originally in the 1940s as a boathouse but has been operating as a restaurant since 1985.
Since opening, The Boathouse extended the original structure's deck - now featuring a gorgeous dining area out back and even a public dock and pathway that leads to Sackets Harbor's shopping area downtown.
