Ever get tired of the same old attractions in New York over and over again? If you feel like you need something truly unique, check out the interactive adventures at 5 Wits! The adventures here are similar to escape rooms, but are entirely different experiences. There are several 5 Wits locations throughout New York, and they’ve recently started expanding into other states as well. This is a great experience for adults and older kids, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re near one.
5 Wits is named for the "five inward wits." Common sense, imagination, estimation, fantasy, and memory are all needed to solve the puzzles here.
All the rooms at 5 Wits are wheelchair and walker accessible. Some of the experiences may need to be slightly modified by staff depending on visitors' mobility, but the company strives to make the rooms as accessible as possible.

Teams of up to 12 guests work together to solve puzzles, answer riddles, and complete their mission. The game is designed to be challenging, but not impossible.
The entire mission is computer-designed, so if you start to struggle too much, the computer will adjust the difficulty level. Failure is a distinct possibility, though, so be careful!
The 40-minute experience requires cooperation and is a great team-building exercise. Each group is private, so you'll only be with your friends or family.
Each room has a different theme. Every experience is entirely unique, and the adventures are designed to be replayed multiple times. You'll find the outcomes are completely different depending on your team's performance.
