Do you find yourself craving food from the fair even when the fair is months away or months past? You’re not the only one. Everyone knows that the food at the fair – the state fair, a county fair, or even a small town fair – is especially scrumptious in a way that’s hard to explain or describe. Fortunately, there is one restaurant in New York that can help you satisfy your cravings during most of the months of the year. Farmer’s Daughters’ Drive-In in Saratoga Springs has been serving people tasty treats since 1964 and it’s still going strong. It’s not open all year – it closes from November to mid-March – but it will still give you access to tasty fair cuisine for more of the year than the fair can. Read on to learn more about this fair foods restaurant in New York!
Farmer's Daughters' Drive-In may not look like much at first, but this place is a local icon. It's located on Route 29, east of Saratoga, as you head out toward Schuylerville.
It's been in business for decades. The current owner, Annette Osher, has owned and operated it for over a 10 years.

You can also order shakes, malts, floats, ice cream sodas, chillers, and flurries. You could come here thousands of times and never get the same exact thing twice.
Sometimes there are additional surprises served here too, like these chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches.
