Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). We recently published a road trip of some of our favorite iconic landmarks in New York. Due to the fact no one (unfortunately!) has time to travel the entire Empire State, we had to keep stops at a manageable number, meaning we needed to focus on just one region of the state. That itinerary was centered around the western part of New York, but there are plenty of fantastic attractions in eastern New York as well. These are a little more spread out, so we didn’t plan a road trip, but they are all certainly worth exploring!
