Here inside the Empire State, you won’t find any shortage of amazing grocery stores, in fact, not so long ago our very own Wegmans was named once of the top grocery stores in the country! As much as we love to support New York-based establishments like Wegmans, now more than ever it’s important to show love and appreciation for some of our mom & pop shops and small-town businesses that always make the effort to go above and beyond for all of us New Yorkers. If you’re ready to shop somewhere local and happen to live in the Capital Region, then see why this one grocery store is so much more than your average shop.
Right on Kenwood Avenue, where you're just 10-minutes outside of Albany, the Delmar Marketplace is one of our favorite places to go shopping when we're looking to grab all of our household essentials and goods.
A family-owned and operated store, Delmar Marketplace may look small from the outside, but once you step foot inside you'll realize this place has all that you need!
One of the many things that makes the Delmar Marketplace so special though is the fact that not only do they stock their shelves with all sorts of locally-made products but they also make their own goods here as well.
Out of all the things that the marketplace is known for cooking up, it's their egg sandwiches that have been the most famous and all it takes is one bite to see why!
