Vidler's is a very old and special place that has been serving the western New York town of East Aurora since 1930.
Founder Robert S. Vidler opened his business just as the Great Depression began. At the time, Vidler's was only about 900 square feet in size and it only had two aisles.
Over the years, Vidler's expanded into neighboring buildings. As Vidler's success grew, so did the store. Today, it is almost 20,000 square feet in size.
Although Robert S. Vidler died in 1969 at the age of 79, his family has kept the store running ever since.
