There’s something so fun and timelessly endearing about the idea of a winter sleigh ride through the snow. So many Christmas carols feature horse-drawn open sleighs, yet it’s something many of us never experience in real life. One place that offers horse-drawn sleigh rides in New York is Circle B Ranch in Chestertown. Tucked away in the amazing Adirondacks, this delightful farm offers horseback rides, sleigh rides, and carriage rides. There’s even complimentary s’mores and hot beverages after the ride to warm you up after your dash through the snow.
Most of the year, this little ranch tucked away in a quiet little hamlet in the Adirondacks is best-known for its horseback riding lessons.
The farm has three different sleigh sizes. A private sleigh accommodates just two people, making it the perfect option for a romantic date. There are also group-sized sleighs for up to 8 or 12 people.
This is a great outdoor winter activity in New York that will provide memories for years to come. Don't stay bundled up inside just because it's cold: get out and enjoy it!
