You already know what the most important meal of the day is, so finding an extraordinary breakfast spot in New York is always something exciting. Just 15-minutes outside of the popular city of Saratoga Springs, the little village of Ballston Spa is home to one of our favorite restaurants. An area of Upstate that’s overflowing with charm, find out for yourself why people from all over drive to feast on the waffles at this one little cafe.
Just off of Milton Avenue on Front Street in the heart of the village, Iron Roost is a delicious little eatery in Ballston Spa that's known for drawing in quite the crowd.
A bright and friendly ambiance immediately greets you as you walk through the door, with this interior view often looking quite different on the weekends - with lots of hungry New Yorkers flocking here for breakfast.
Iron Roosts makes their dishes from scratch, using a variety of locally-sourced goods - getting things like their eggs, dairy, maple syrup, and yogurt from businesses nearby in the Upstate area.
And of course, it's their 'Sweet' half of the menu that truly pulls at our heartstrings! With delicious options like their waffle sticks, apple crisp waffles, lemon berry waffles, and make-your-own options that allow you to get creative.
