Earlier this spring, we spoke about how just outside of Buffalo you can take your whole family to a mini amusement park in Olcott that’s amazing and designed specifically for the youngest of visitors. If you happen to be looking for an amusement park that offers a bit more of a thrill, well then you’ll be overwhelmed with joy when you hear about the latest attraction that’s about to open at Darien Lake. If you’ve yet to hear about the newest reason to head out to our favorite Thrill Capital, then let us fill you in on all the details!
Only a quick 40-minute drive from Buffalo, Six Flags Darien Lake has become known as the roller coaster and thrill capital of New York.
Recently opening up for the year, the park has begun to unveil new adrenaline-inducing rides like the Tantrum roller coaster that reaches speeds of more than 50 miles per hour and even has a 97-degree vertical drop. Woah!
With each swing seating two people, you'll be able to grab a friend or family member to sit next to during this unforgettable amusement park adventure.
If you're ready to say that you've ridden the tallest ride in New York State, then keep your eye out for the official opening date of Six Flag Darien Lake's Skyscreamer.
