One of the many perks to living here in the city of Buffalo is that we’re so close to so many famous natural wonders, from the likes of Niagara Falls to Letchworth State Park. While we can appreciate having such magnificent adventures so easily within our reach, sometimes we’re looking for an outing that’s a little less touristy and a lot more intimate. Located fewer than a hundred miles outside of the Queen City, this lesser-known park that’s full of waterfalls is more than worth the drive!
Only 90 miles east of Buffalo and found in the heart of Naples is a breathtaking little park known as Grimes Glen.
A park that’s only officially been open to the public for just over 10 year, Grimes Glen is a hidden gem people from Buffalo and beyond are just now becoming acquainted with.
The park's most notable waterfall is known as Grimes Glen Falls. If you're following the creek, this majestic wonder is situated at the end of the park - saving the best for the last.
